12 costed itineraries, 7 to 14 nights, on a 3, 4 or 5‑star basis. Every price below covers return flights, the Saudi visa, hotels in both cities and airport transfers.
Ahad Travel's all-inclusive Umrah packages cover your entire pilgrimage in one quoted price. 12 packages run from 7 to 14 nights on a 3, 4, or 5-star basis, starting at £733 per person with flights from the UK to Saudi Arabia. Each price includes return flights, your Saudi visa, a named hotel in Makkah, a named hotel in Madinah, and all airport transfers. You see your hotel name and its walking distance to Masjid al-Haram before you pay.
3-star Umrah packages start at £733 and use hotels 850 metres to 1.4 km from the Haram. 4-star Umrah packages start at £857 and bring better rooms, breakfast, and closer Madinah hotels. 5-star Umrah packages start at £1,190 and place you 250 to 600 metres from Masjid al-Haram, with hotels including the Swissotel Makkah and the Anjum Makkah.
Meals, travel insurance, and the meningitis ACWY vaccination are extra — budget £100 to £150 per person for these. September to November gives you the lowest prices and the mildest weather. Ramadan is the most rewarding and the most expensive period.
Every booking with flights is ATOL 74904 protected. You book with a £50 deposit and pay the balance monthly, with no interest and no fees. Group Umrah packages, family Umrah packages, and solo pilgrim bookings are all available year-round.
The tier sets the standard of hotel and the room that comes with it. What the price covers never changes — and distance to the Haram varies inside every tier, so each card gives the real figure.
Prices are per person on a quad-share basis, exactly as quoted to us. Triple and double rates sit on each package page.

Ahad Travel arranges group Umrah trips year-round for mosques, community organisations, and large families. Groups of 4 or more people pay less per person. We meet the group leader before you fly and assign a dedicated coordinator for the entire trip.
Solo pilgrims can book any package on this page. Saudi Arabia allows women aged 18 and over to perform Umrah without a mahram. We arrange women-only group trips with a female guide on request.
Family Umrah packages are available across all 3 tiers. Children under 2 fly free with most airlines. Children aged 2 to 11 get a reduced fare. Tell us your group size and ages when you enquire, and we will send you a family price.
An all-inclusive Umrah package from Ahad Travel covers 5 core items in one price: return flights, Saudi visa, a hotel in Makkah, a hotel in Madinah, and airport transfers. You book once and pay once. Prices start at £733 per person.
“All-inclusive” on an Umrah package does not mean meals the way it would on a holiday. Every UK Umrah agent uses the term the same way: flights, visa, hotels, and transfers in one price. Meals are extra on the cheaper packages, and we can add them. Everything that is not included is listed below.
These costs are extra with every Umrah travel agency, not only with us:
Keep £100 to £150 per person aside for the vaccination, insurance, and day-to-day spending, and you will not be caught out.
No, not automatically. A higher star rating gets you a better hotel room, not a shorter walk. The relationship between stars and distance depends on the city.
In Makkah, our 3-star hotels sit 850 metres to 1.4 km from Masjid al-Haram. Our 4-star hotels range from 700 metres (Elaf Kinda Hotel and Ramada Dar Al Fayzeen) to 5.3 km (M Hotel Al Dana by Millennium, which runs a free shuttle). Going from 3-star to 4-star in Makkah gets you a bigger room and breakfast. It does not guarantee a shorter walk.
Our 5-star Makkah hotels are the closest to the Haram: the Swissotel Makkah at 250 metres, the Anjum Makkah at 400 metres, the Tilal Jabal Al Kabah at 500 metres, and the Makarem Ajyad at 600 metres. Book 5-star to be within a 3 to 9 minute walk.
Madinah is different. Our 3-star Madinah hotels sit 450 to 700 metres from Masjid an-Nabawi. Our 4-star hotels sit 250 to 400 metres. Our 5-star Sofitel Shahd Al Madinah is 150 metres away. In Madinah, a higher star rating does bring you closer.
Book 3-star for the best value, if the walk does not concern you. Book 5-star to be within minutes of the Haram. Book 4-star for a better room and breakfast — the distance sits between the two.
Ahad Travel keeps Umrah prices low through 4 practices: bulk booking, using hotels at a walking distance rather than next door to the Haram, offering flights with a stop on cheaper packages, and not bundling meals on 3-star packages.
The cheapest quote is not always the cheapest trip. Some agencies quote prices without flights, or place you 40 minutes from the Haram without stating it clearly. Our price covers the whole journey. You get the hotel name and walking distance in writing before you pay. ATOL 74904 protection means that, if a travel company goes bust, you get your money back or get brought home. Travel between September and November and book early for the lowest price.
Book 3-star for the best price. Our cheapest Umrah packages, from £733 to £886 per person. Good for pilgrims watching what they spend and for families who prefer a longer stay over a fancier room. Hotels are clean and well-run. Visa, transfers, and a guide (on most packages) are included. Meals are not.
Book 4-star for comfort and breakfast. Everything in the 3-star package plus a better hotel: bigger rooms, quieter floors, breakfast at most properties, and lifts. In Madinah you stay closer to Masjid an-Nabawi — as close as 250 metres at the Elaf Taiba Hotel. Prices range from £857 to £1,098 per person. This is what we suggest for a first Umrah.
Book 5-star to be close to the Haram. The Swissotel Makkah is 250 metres from Masjid al-Haram. The Sofitel Shahd Al Madinah is 150 metres from Masjid an-Nabawi. Good for anyone travelling with elderly parents, wheelchair users, or anyone who cannot walk far. Prices range from £1,190 to £1,342 per person.
Ahad Travel tells you your hotel and its walking distance in writing before you pay, holds ATOL 74904, and assigns one person to look after your booking from start to finish.
Our ATOL number is 74904. Go to the CAA website, type it in, and it will confirm we are licensed. Ask any Umrah agency for their ATOL number and check it before you pay.
We confirm your hotel in writing — the name, the star rating, and the walking distance in minutes to the Haram — before we take any money.
Nothing gets added at the end. Everything that is not included is listed on this page.
The same person handles your booking, your visa, and any problems while you are away.
Our office is open daily, 9 am to 9 pm. There is someone to call when you are in Makkah or Madinah. WhatsApp is available 24/7 on 07935 920310.
13 Station Road, London SE25 5AH, United Kingdom.
A £50 deposit per person holds your place. No interest, no admin fee, no charge for paying it off early. The deposit is non-refundable because we book your flight seat and hotel room straight away.
Our reviews are on Trustpilot and Google. Read them before you decide.

September to November is the best time for most UK pilgrims. Prices are at their lowest, the weather in Makkah is mild, and the Haram is less crowded than during Ramadan or December.
We fly from London Heathrow, Manchester, and Birmingham on our current packages. Flight routes are operated by Saudia, Turkish Airlines, Emirates, and Qatar Airways, depending on the package and departure date.
A direct flight from London Heathrow to Jeddah takes about 6 hours, covering roughly 4,800 km (2,980 miles). A flight with one stop in Dubai, Doha, or Istanbul takes 9 to 12 hours and costs less. Most pilgrims fly into Jeddah because of its proximity to Makkah — roughly 80 km (50 miles) by road.
Ask the agency these 8 questions before you book. The answers will tell you more than any “best Umrah packages” list.
3 things have changed for UK pilgrims performing Umrah in 2027:
Umrah pilgrims from the UK land at 2 main airports in Saudi Arabia: King Abdulaziz International Airport (JED) in Jeddah and Prince Mohammed Bin Abdulaziz International Airport (MED) in Madinah.
Jeddah is the most common arrival point because of its proximity to Makkah — roughly 80 km (50 miles), about 1 hour by road. Madinah airport is the second option, and some packages start in Madinah before moving to Makkah. Passengers on a Saudi tourist or business visa can also fly into Riyadh (RUH), Dammam (DMM), Yanbu, or Taif.
Ahad Travel offers affordable Umrah packages across 3 hotel tiers. 3-star packages start at £733, 4-star at £857, and 5-star at £1,190 — all per person with flights, visa, hotels in Makkah and Madinah, and transfers included.
Our 5-star hotels in Makkah include the Swissotel Makkah at 250 metres from Masjid al-Haram, the Anjum Makkah at 400 metres, and the Tilal Jabal Al Kabah at 500 metres. In Madinah, the Sofitel Shahd Al Madinah sits 150 metres from Masjid an-Nabawi with a direct Haram view and an executive lounge.
Affordable does not mean basic. Every hotel on our list has free Wi-Fi, air conditioning, a 24-hour front desk, and room service. The 4 and 5-star hotels add breakfast, executive lounges, and facilities for disabled guests.
Our cheap Umrah packages start at £733 per person for 14 nights with 3-star hotels, flights, visa, and transfers. These are genuine all-inclusive prices — not starting figures that grow once you add flights or visa.

Most UK pilgrims book 7 to 14 nights. Umrah itself takes 4 to 6 hours to perform. 7 nights gives you Umrah plus the main ziyarat places in both cities. 10 to 14 nights lets you perform Umrah more than once.
Book 4 to 6 months ahead for a standard trip. For Ramadan, book 8 to 12 months ahead, especially for the last ten nights. December fills up quickly because of UK school holidays.
Yes. Tell us the hotel when you enquire and we will price it. Every hotel we use is listed on this page with its walking distance to the Haram. We confirm your hotel in writing before taking any money.
ATOL (Air Travel Organiser's Licence) is a UK government scheme run by the Civil Aviation Authority (CAA). ATOL refunds your money or brings you home if a travel company goes bust while you are abroad. Every Umrah package we sell with flights is covered under ATOL 74904.

Yes, you can visit other places in Saudi Arabia with an Umrah package, provided you hold the right visa. The Saudi tourist e-visa lasts one year, allows multiple entries, and lets you travel freely within the country. The standard Umrah visa restricts travel to Makkah and Madinah.
No. Pilgrims of all ages are welcome. Children under 2 fly free with most airlines. Children aged 2 to 11 get a reduced fare. We arrange Umrah packages for elderly pilgrims and wheelchair users.
Standard baggage allowances depend on your airline. Most airlines flying from the UK to Saudi Arabia allow 23 kg (50.7 lbs) of checked luggage and 7 kg (15.4 lbs) of hand luggage per passenger. Saudia allows 2 checked bags of 23 kg each on most routes.
Check the Saudi Ministry of Hajj and Umrah website and the Nusuk app for the latest Umrah travel guidelines. The UK government's travel advice page for Saudi Arabia covers visa requirements, health warnings, and entry rules.
No, but UK passport holders can get a Saudi visa quickly. The Saudi tourist e-visa is available online, costs about SAR 300 (roughly £60), lasts one year, and allows multiple entries. We handle the visa application for every Ahad Travel Umrah package.
A direct flight from London to Jeddah takes about 6 hours, covering roughly 4,800 km (2,980 miles). A flight with one stop in Dubai, Doha, or Istanbul takes 9 to 12 hours.
Saudia and British Airways offer non-stop direct flights from London Heathrow to Jeddah. Saudia also flies direct from Heathrow to Madinah. Connecting flights through Dubai (Emirates), Doha (Qatar Airways), and Istanbul (Turkish Airlines) are available from most UK airports and are often cheaper.
